Best wishes to all!
Here's hoping that everyone will add to this blog. It is my effort to stay connected with family and update everyone about important, and sometimes unimportant, things, events and occurancies that are happening in our busy lives in a fun and respectful manner.
I am hopeful that my skills in blogging will increase and that family members will read, and even add to the page.
If you should see this blog, please add comments, share photographs, pass along memories of yesteryear and whatever news you have to share. Miles between us is no excuse to not stay in touch. We are a FAMILY.
My family is well. Gary and Daniel work locally and both coach football and basketball. Josh works as a loan officer, and Brady is a Freshman in college. I work with preschoolers in a Supervisor position.
I will add family details as I feel comfortable negotiating my way around cyberspace.
P.S. I guess there are only 2 rules for use of this blog. Be respectful of the feelings of others and spelling correctly is not a requireeementtt :)

ReplyDeleteI am glad spelling doesn't count, if it did I would never write anything. Hi Marie, sorry I missed Pickle in the half time show. I watched the wrong game and half time show. By the time we got back from Fred Meyer with groceries, we walked in and saw a message on the phone. Darn we missed her. Thought it would be a quick trip yea right best laid plans. So enlighten us all on what we missed! Keith, loved the jokes! Kids are so funny. How did you find the web site or did some one send it to you? Had Andrew trying to set up my kodak easyshare so I could send photos but it would not work, just my luck. Went walking with our Julie this morning, trying to get into better shape. Anyone make a new year's resolution they would like to share? I just made one to learn more about this computer. There I am typing away and I look at the screen and the little blinking line is half way through my writing and I am re-writing over what was there. Why me, ha! Well keith, dad said you had booked your holidays for this year and it sounds so nice. What is the name of the place so I can look it up on the map? Weather today is low clouds and drissel. Both kids are here and at the moment they are watching a video. One of Vicki's favs lock stock and three smocking barrels sorry just informed two smoking barrels whats one more smoking barrel more our less and after all that its a movie called snatch! Denise and Bob, how's the Granny flat coming? Would love to see pictures. Love to all! Carol
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea. I am living in Eugene and working in Springfield as a self-employed welder and metal fabricator. I am very interested in architecture and design and have found various ways to express and share those interests. I build gates mostly for upscale homes and for businesses too. You can check out my handiwork with gates at:

I built 99% of the gates on the site. I am also still making my metal sculpture and furniture which is at:

In the past year, I have gotten quite involved with my neighborhood association (The Friendly Neighborhood in Eugene). Aside from being a board member, I am the editor of our neighborhood newsletter. Recently, I also applied and was appointed to the City of Eugene Historic Review Board. It is a 9-member volunteer group that meets once a month to hear applications to the National Registry of Historic Places and City of Eugene Landmarks. I'm looking forward to reading about everyone's interests and exploits.
Slowly but surely the gang is arriving :) I knew we could do it!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Grandad Keith :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like Brady and Josh have been talking to Phillip and Dale :)
